Is AI the Final Sign of the End of the Age Prophecy?

You know, I was scrolling through the news yesterday—which is always a dangerous thing for a pastor’s blood pressure—and I saw three different headlines about Artificial Intelligence. One was about AI-generated medicine, another about AI “resurrecting” the voices of the dead, and a third about how it’s now outperforming human lawyers.
And immediately, my mind went to a dusty old scroll from 2,000 years ago.
I want to talk about Daniel 12:4. If you’ve got your Bibles handy, or just your phone app, look at what the angel tells Daniel. He says: “But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”
For centuries, scholars looked at that and thought, “Maybe it means more people will read the Bible.” In the 1900s, people said, “Look! We have cars and planes! We’re going back and forth!” And they weren’t wrong. But friends, I believe we are witnessing the ultimate fulfillment of this prophecy right now, in our pockets and on our screens.
The “Knowledge” Threshold
Think about the phrase: “Knowledge will increase.” For most of human history, knowledge moved at a snail’s pace. It took a hundred years for human knowledge to double back in the 1800s. By the end of WWII, it was doubling every 25 years. Today? Some experts say with the integration of AI, human knowledge is doubling every 12 hours.
Think about that. People are not just learning more; humanity have created a “digital brain” that can process the sum total of human history in seconds. We have reached a point where the “scroll” Daniel was told to seal is being ripped open by algorithms.
AI as the Undeniable Proof
Now, some people ask me, “Elder Dan, is AI evil?” And I tell them, a hammer is not evil until you use it to hurt someone. But here’s what I can tell you: AI is an undeniable signpost.
The prophecy says that in the end times, this knowledge explosion would happen. It would not be a gradual climb; it would be a vertical spike. AI is that spike. We are literally building a global nervous system. We’ve gone from “searching for knowledge” to having an intelligence that anticipates our needs, tracks our movements, and influences our very thoughts.
When Daniel wrote “many will go back and forth,” the Hebrew implies a frantic searching—a restless, globalized world. Does that not describe us today? People are more “connected” than ever, yet they’re searching more desperately for truth because we’re drowning in a sea of data.
Why This Matters for You
I’m not telling you this to scare you. I’m telling you this to wake you up.
If Daniel’s prophecy about the increase of knowledge is coming true before our very eyes—and let’s be honest, AI is the “knowledge increase” on steroids—then the rest of the Book is just as real. King Yahshua is coming! Yes folks, the stage is being set!
We see the technology for a global economy, the technology for a “speaking image” (Revelation 13), and the technology to track every human being on earth. It’s all here. The “proof” isn’t in some conspiracy theory; it’s in the palm of your hand.
The Bottom Line
So, what do we do? We don’t hide in a hole. We look up!
If knowledge is increasing, let’s make sure our wisdom is increasing too. Let’s spend less time talking to the chatbot and more time talking to Yahweh, our Creator and Father in heaven. Because while AI can give you some facts, only the Holy Spirit can give you genuine truths and peace!
The scroll is unsealed, church. The signs are screaming. Are you ready?
