Who Is The True Elohim You’ve Been Looking For?

Hello everyone. Welcome back to Spiritual Podcast, your podcast for authentic Bible teachings. I’m so glad you’ve tuned in today. I’m Elder Dan, your host.

You know, I was walking through the city the other day, looking at all the things people put their time, money, and energy into. It reminded me so much of a story in the Bible—specifically in Acts chapter 17. The Apostle Paul is standing in the middle of Athens, a city filled with statues and altars to every god imaginable.

But he noticed one altar that was different. It had an inscription that read: “To an Unknown Elohim.” Think about that for a second. These people were deeply religious, they were “worshiping,” but they were essentially shooting arrows in the dark. They knew there was something—or Someone—bigger than themselves, but they didn’t actually know Him.

Breaking the Silence of Ignorance

Paul didn’t just walk past that altar. He stood up and told them: “What you worship as something unknown, I am going to proclaim to you.”

Friends, we are living in a modern-day Athens. People today are worshiping all sorts of “unknown gods.” Maybe it’s a stone statue; maybe it’s a career, a political movement, a lifestyle, or even a vague sense of “spirituality” that doesn’t require anything of us. We’ve been trying to fill an Elohim-sized hole with things that can’t talk back, can’t save us, and definitely didn’t create us.

But here is the hard truth we have to face: Ignorance is no longer an excuse. The Bible tells us that the Creator—the one true Elohim who made the world and everything in it—doesn’t live in temples made by human hands! He isn’t a concept we can mold to fit our preferences. For a long time, humanity wandered in the dark, and Yahweh overlooked that ignorance. But now? Now the light has been switched on.

A Call to Turn Around

The message Paul gave then is the same message we’re shouting from the rooftops today: It is time to repent! Repentance isn’t just a “churchy” word for feeling bad. It means to change your mind. It means to stop walking toward those false idols that leave you empty and turn your face toward the Living Elohim. We have to let go of the “unknown” and embrace the Revealed!

Proclaiming the Truth to the Nations

He has revealed Himself through His Son, Yahshua! The “Unknown Elohim” has a name, Yahweh, and His truth is being made plain for anyone who has ears to hear and eyes to see!

Yes, the days of guessing are over. The truth is out there, and it’s time to stop worshiping the shadows and start walking in the light!
