How to Hear from Yahweh in Heaven

A simple guide for hearing the voice of almighty father yahweh in heaven through sincere prayer

How to Hear from Yahweh in Heaven

Hello folks. Welcome back to Spiritual Podcast, your podcast for authentic Bible teachings that we share for 100% with you all. It is Saturday. Happy Sabbath, everyone! I’m Elder Joe, your host. If you’ve been listening to our recent podcast series, you know we’ve been diving deep into what it actually looks like to walk with Master Yahshua the Messiah in the everyday grind.

Today, we’re tackling one of the most common questions I get asked a lot over coffee after the service: “Elder Joe, how do I actually hear from Almighty Yahweh?”

If you’ve ever felt like your prayers are just bouncing off the ceiling, or you’re waiting for a booming voice from the clouds that never comes, this post is for you. Let’s break down how to tune into the frequency of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh.

If you would rather listen to this, just click the play button below. 🙂

1. Get Into the Word (The Baseline)

You cannot recognize the voice of a stranger. If you want to hear Yahweh, you have to get familiar with how He speaks. The Bible isn’t just an ancient history book; it’s the primary way Yahweh reveals His character, His heart, and His will for your life.

In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, we’re told that “All Scripture is Yahweh-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

When you spend time reading the Bible, you are literally memorizing the cadence of Yahweh’s voice. When you face a tough decision later, that truth is already tucked away in your heart, ready for the Holy Spirit to bring it to your remembrance.

2. Master the Art of Stillness

We live in a world that is obsessed with noise. If we’re not working, we’re scrolling, listening to podcasts, or watching TV. But Yahweh often speaks in the “still, small voice.”

Think about 1 Kings 19:11-12. When Elijah was looking for Yahweh, He wasn’t in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire. He was in a gentle whisper. If you are constantly distracted, you’re going to miss the whisper. Try setting aside ten minutes today—no phone, no music—just sitting in silence and asking, “Father Yahweh, what do You want me to know today?”

3. Invite the Holy Spirit of Yahweh into Your Daily Routine

Hearing from Yahweh doesn’t have to be limited to Friday evenings, Saturday mornings, or “quiet time.” Yahshua told His disciples in John 10:27, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

You are His sheep. He is already speaking. The challenge is often our lack of awareness. Start practicing “active listening” throughout your day. When you’re driving to work, washing the dishes, or walking the dog, just check in with Him. Tell Him what you’re worried about. Ask for His perspective on your calendar. When you treat Yahweh like a friend who is walking right beside you, you’ll be surprised at how often He responds with a nudge, a sudden peace, or a new idea.

4. Seek Wise Counsel

Yahweh often speaks to us through the people He has placed in our lives. If you feel like Yahweh is telling you to do something, but it contradicts the wisdom of righteous mentors or the teaching of the Holy Scripture, pause. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us that “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”

If you think you’ve heard from Yahweh, run it by a righteous believer. It’s a great way to confirm if you’re actually hearing the Spirit or just following your own desires.

The Takeaway

Learning to hear from Almighty Yahweh is a journey, not a destination. You’re going to have days where it feels crystal clear and days where you feel like you’re searching in the dark. That’s okay. He is patient, He is kind, and He is desperate to be in conversation with you.

Start small. Open your Bible, sit in the quiet, and bring Him into your daily rhythm. He’s already speaking—I can’t wait for you to hear Him.
